Azita Ghanizada is an Afghan American actor in the United States has been in several television series. Family members fled from Afghanistan and sought asylum in the US. Her birthplace was in the US. Ghanizada was raised within Northern Virginia and is the third child from two siblings. Ghanizada made her debut on TV by appearing on National Commercials. Ghanizada received a nomination for the most outstanding actress in the film festival in 2004's Laura Neri movie A Kiss on the Nose. The actress played the role of Chiara. The television shows she has appeared in include How I Met Your Mother Entourage Veronica Mars NUMB3RS The Wedding Bells Psych Castle and Castle. Her latest roles include a role as a support on the show Blood Shot, (2009) which is based on the science-fiction movie Blood Shot and independent comedy You Only Better (2009). Ghanizada was played by the General Hospital spinoff General Hospital that aired on prime time television. In the second season, Night Shift, she played Dr. Saira Bhatra a holistic doctor.
